And diapers/pull-ups or an extra change of underwear! My wife is due at any moment and was thinking about when I could bring my 2-1/2 yr.old daughter with me to get her out of the house. Sounds like some of y'all have already done this.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I bet it will be great fun whether or not you see deer.

In. Forgot binos in the truck but I got everything else. She is a little wound up. Feeder goes off in 5 minutes.

First sit of every year I am reminded how much I love my Sweeney feeders. We have a few that are at least 20 years old. They run empty in the off season. All I do is dump corn in them and check the timer every October. Feeder went off about 10 minutes ago. Alice is a little restless.

Well she lasted until 630 and then started getting real antsy. Only saw one young buck and he knew something was up and never came within 100 yards of a feeder. Drove around until dark and only saw a couple. Acorns everywhere...deer aren't moving.

The first time that Cory went with me, we forgot his game boy and other electronic time wasters at the house. It was non-eventful that first evening to say the least, what with all the movement. The next day I found a legal pad and pencil at camp. Every time he started getting antsy, I would have him draw something. It was always hunting related, deer stand, feeder, deer, guns, etc. Pages and pages. I still have the drawings. I'm going to get them framed one day to give to him.
