Need some advice

So I am pretty new to this great state of Texas and I am enjoying all that I can. Hunting here is totally different than back home(Oregon). So I have talked to two different outfitters for hunts and neither one has gotten back to me about hunts.Is this normal? I don't have a lease and I don't care to try the public land since it doesn't seem too promising for deer. What should I do? Keep looking for some other places to hunt or what? I would really like to shoot a deer or two. Pigs would be cool too but not a big deal. Let me know if you have any suggestions on places or anything. Thanks WW

Check with some of the site sponsors. There are few different ranches. I bet if you said you got their contact info from TBH that would help them to make a point to respond. Depending on how long you have been waitig for them toget back to you I would move on. Remember they are running a business and if they don't get back to you that isn't very good business practice in my book and I would n't spend my money with them Also check rate the day lease section for some good places to hunt.
