    Processor Houston NW side?

I have taken game to Midway in Katy in the past and planned on doing that again for an up coming hog hunt (if God blesses us). I just found out that the meat processing side of the Midway business is only open during the fall/winter.

Now I need to find a place that will take a potential hog or two in the NW Houston area.

Jesse- You can call me and I can take them from you. I always need more meet in my freezer!!

I know there is a place out in old Katy (Good Old Boys). They are off of Pin Oak (I think). Not sure if they have the same "hours" as Midway or not.

      GOOD LUCK!

there is place in Porter I think is open year round. County Line is the name. I have never used them.

Try C&C on 45N also. I use them and they are great. Do not know if they are open year round.

        Good luck hunting.

I know they used to do processing too. I took a deer to them one time but then went right back to Midway. Not sure if they are still doing deer processing or not.

Actually, there is a place out in Fulshear, if my memory serves me correctly.

Cur Dog....Porter is too far for me.....and I can't find C&C in the yellowpages nor online. But thanks for the suggestions.

County line is seasonal also. But when the season does get here he does a fantastic job and usually stays open till May time frame. I live a couple of streets from there and he is currently closed. I did here that if you have something like 500lbs. or more that he would open up for it, but I don't know that for sure you would have to call him. 281-354-6200. Good luck on your hunt!!

I can't remember the name of the place out in Fulshear.

I just need something a reasonable distance from Katy so that if I get anything on Friday night, I can drop it off on Saturday morning.

Yeah Cal does a good job with meat and each year he gets better. Up until this past season his casings for smoked sausage were as tough as a shoe. He finally went to a commercial sausage plant and found out he was smoking his sausage too long at too high a temperature. I have been taking my deer and hogs to him since he opened and he will only open up the shop during the off season if he knows you. Sure is nice though to have a processor just a few blocks from the house.

You're talkin' about "Dozier's". It's hit or miss with them nowadays on their processing. The last deer I took in there will be the last deer I ever take in there. Nice people, good BBQ every other day, but the processing has gone downhill. I eat there at least once/week since I work 5 miles from them.
