You have a contract with Mike to make widgets for $1 each. You find out that Mike has a contract to furnish those same widgets to Fred for $2 each.
What?! That Mike is a lousy chicken footed bastage! He doesn't make the widgets, you do! He wants to have a free ride and make money doing nothing! Not fair!
So do you keep making widgets for Mike or do you do an end-around and strike a deal with Fred?
See, it's not really all that complicated. It happens in the business world all the time. Best wishes in whatever you decide.

Sounds like based on your last paragraph you have already done E.
Good Luck
Whatever backwards deal is going on here, you don't want to be involved in it, but I would like the landowner to know why you are not getting on the lease, It sounds like you have already talked to him, he may be glad to know that not everyone is getting a fair shake, or its not being run right. If you like the porperty enough this may be the way to go.Last edited by westguy76; 10-07-2010, 10:18 AM.
