most of the ones I know that bowhunt up there are on private, but come gun season a bunch of my buddies go hunt on the public ground. Had some during muzzleloader on private that did ok, one came home with a 158" 10pt.

At least you won't have to worry about running into any other hunters out there! It's pretty densely populated out there but that's a good thing!
