Ducking the arrow

Them deer are fast critters. I had an old doe come in this evening that ducked three of my arrows in an hours time! Never seen one keep coming back like that.

I think there may be a noise issue. I've talked him into going to his local bow shop and have them listen while he shoots down the range. I put new strings and an sts on it a couple of months ago but didn't put any string silencers on. Didn't think it needed any with the sts, but now I'm thinking it might. I'm busy with work this week and live a few hours away, or else I'd put them on myself.

Get a faster bow...or slower deer.

Good luck with that... I try to keep my setup over 290fps so that doesn't happen.. I also aim 2-3 inches over the edge of the deer's chest behind his leg. I get lung shots most of the time.
