Watch Out - CC Fraud

Just wanted to pass along a heads up. I watch my bank accounts very closely and recently noticed a couple out of place charges come up. They were no big charges but out of place for me. Anyway, I googled them and found several hits about fraud that matched my charges exactly. I am fortunate that my bank is taking care of it, but it ****** me off none the less. I just wanted to pass this along to be on the watch out. I am guessing they got my number off the internet some how from me buying something online.

I had three charges on the same day 2 for $19.99 and 1 for $21.99.

I also tried to call the company number but I could not weed my way through there automated crap and when I got to a menu that mentioned unauthorized charges it said to calll my bank.

Anyway beware.

Dealing with some of that crap now myself. A little over $500 bucks showed up on my CC. They are being cool about it, canceled that card, sent me a new one, erased the charges, ect, but you're right, it will still **** you off. Reminder to everyone to keep on top of your cards and bank accounts!

We just had 4 charges on a cc for $694.00 each on the same day and the cc company questioned nothing. They closed the account and we are not responsible. My wife watches them like a hawk but even looking online they don't always show up quickly.

My card recently had some attempted charges for that same deal, Blizzard. My bank cancelled my card and issued me a new one. Sounds like it's going around.

I was hit last Thursday with the same exact deal. 3 charges of 19.99 from that Blizzard. The bank is suppose to be taking care of it. Had to cancel my card and get a new one.
