My b-in-law was at a different camp this weekend with his college buddies and they all were trying the new T3 broadheads from G5..
3 of them, including the BIL got shots on deer, admittingly not the best shots - one about 5 inches back and low, one high , and a neck shot due to a doe ducking the string...
There was NO blood from any of the shots..
Anyone else using these broadheads? Do they just not create a open wound channel and allow it to close up tight?
I understand bad shots and all but even a shot in the leg will produce some blood.. surely a neck shot and a high shot would let something out..
Please, no comments about the shot placements.. all three of these guys can drive tacks out to 60 yards on any given day.. just circumstances dictated otherwise in these cases.. it happens..
