How to empty a full feeder?

What is the easiest way to empty a full feeder? I really don't want to dump all the corn on the ground but I'm not sure I can haul it back to my truck. Any ideas?

Last time I emptied mine, I took the motor assembly off and let the corn drop into buckets.

I usually keep a few empty corn bags around so I just remove the spinner and let the corn drain into the bags.

Turn the feeder to MAX throw time and attract all of the hogs you can so when your feeder is empty the guy with the feeder 15yards away will get hammered with hogs and youll be gone.

get a bunch of old corn bags if you have any. Take off the spinner plate and let the corn fill up the bags. Usually a 2 person job once one bag is full put your hand over the hole, and switch bags...repeat until all corn is out.

empty corn sack, drop the timer/spinner, let it rain!

I used duct tape to stop the corn between bags. Worked like a charm. Good luck.

Thanks, looks like I'll be taking the timer and spinner off. I would like to keep the corn, I'll put it in a friends feeder or throw it out for the goats. No use feeding deer that I won't get to shoot.

Yeah, good idea, put on the duct tape, THEN take off the feeder assembly, it is easier to fill the bags this way, and get someone to help. Good luck!
