What a first morning so far! Pigs were east of me while coming in. I could hear a doe blowing at them.
Got in stand about 615 and 2 minutes later had 6-8 pigs walk under my stand to a spot I had dumped a 50# bag of corn a week ago. Too early to see.
A bit later I can make out some doe at my feeder which is about 45 yards away. I don't have a direct sight of it but i can make them out.
At about 8 I had a doe and fawn come in on me. They were coming with bad wind, but I guess scent loc, Treestand & deer herd in a stick works!
They just left after 45 minutes! I took several iPhone pics and video. I will see what will load by phone.
Best shot was at 3 yards quartering away. I am holding my doe tags for a meat hunt in Llano. Save the ladies!
Man it is good to be in the woods again! This is my second year bowhunting and my 1st in a tree...it is gonna be fun!
