I do but it isnt because i choose to, its because I have to (**** oilfield lease) Plus side of it, their are very few of us on around 10k acres

Don't even own a hunting rifle.
Plenty of other guns, just nothing to really hunt with.

I had been since 1994, but spent time hunting with my girls last year with them shooting the .243. Does that count against me?

Haven't rifle hunted in 3 years this may be 4. Like the bossman the kid still shoots the .243, but we are going to try for her first bow kill this year.

Been bow only for about 4-5 years now. But If I don't get the buck that gave me the slip last year with a bow I might have to get him with the gun this year. Probably my last year on this lease.

This will be my first year trying bow only. I spent last year learning everything last minute so I had some rifle hunting in there. But I refuse to pick up a rifle this year unless I just can't get them in to my bow blind...when it comes down to it I will be filling the freezer...just hoping it's with my bow.

Last couple of years I've been bow only, never needed a rifle. This year, due to health reasons, I've been practicing with my rifle. Will still do bow the last part of October, and probably the first couple of weeks of rifle, then if needed I'll take a rifle to get some meat.
