Knew I wouldn't be able to sleep so I decided not to. Took the kids to a Rangers game got lost in Arrlington got home @ 1:40. Showered made samwiches and am about to get me some 5 hour energy and a cup of coffie. As for the nookie I got rid of the wife before hunting season. Will find a new one in Feburary. I wonder how many guys who are at their lease have given up on sleep and are sitting around the campfire sipping coffee waiting for go time? I am at home (woke up and decided to check the green screen). Even though I am not on a lease I can feel the anticipation. I think this is going to be a great year for deer hunters.

I remember one brtutally cold rifle season opening morning many years back. I woke up at about 2:00 am and couldn't go back to sleep so I grabbed my sleeping bag and rilfe and headed for my stand. I curled up on the floor of my 4X4 stand and snoozed until shooting light.

Setting in my car. Just heard a deer blow 50 yards up wind of me. Something spooked them.

Just drove by there. Saw 2 trucks a SUV and a volvo. No deer in that spot. Best of luck. Ill be texting you if I need help on a tracking job. Heard you are better than a bloodhound.
