He was wounded and charged during the follow up.

He missed his 1st shot at around 30 yards!!!!

He then just had time to reload and then had to fire from the hip and luckily brained the lion.

I was in Botswana with the guy who is in that video, his name is Ronnie. He's a PH for Johan Calitz Safaris. He told us all about that hunt and how if he hadn't of kneeled down on his knees for the shot he would probably be dead right now.
