If you want to really sharpen your shotgunning skills, hunt dove and quail with a .410. It is a great gauge and more powerful than most people think. When your son gets good with it he will be a wonderful wingshooter from then on out. I think everyone should start out with a .410. Great job on being a dad for your son!
