    Deer blinds by Dillon

Does anyone have a Dillon Deer Blind. I'm considering getting one. They're not cheap so I want to make sure it's a good product. Any feedback would be mucho appreciated.

Dillon Manufacturing builds premium fiberglass hunting blinds, towers, hog traps, and accessories. Our quality hunting products are designed to last a lifetime.

    Thanks.

I've got 2 of them (1 rifle and 1 bow blind) and a few other hunters on our lease have them as well.

My rifle blind is a 5X6 1/2 hex. I wish I would have gotten the 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 instead. It makes it difficult to shoot from the side of the blind out the front. The angles of the front wall get in your way.

Bow blind is a custom built 5X6 1/2 hex also but it's built sideways.

They make a bow/rifle combo with only one bow window. I had my supplier contact them to have this one custom made. I didn't want any windows in the middle of the sides, I had them moved as far back close to the door as possible.

IMO, it's well worth it to get the aluminum door. There's nothing wrong with the factory fiberglass door, the aluminum is just a lot nicer.

I really like them. My rifle blind is on it's 4th season and haven't had one single problem out of it and have NEVER had an issue with bugs or yellow jackets. My bow blind is still new and I'll be hauling it out to the lease tomorrow. I never could get out to get it set up so I'll be hunting out of my old bow blind this weekend.

Not a Dillon, but we have 3 of the Superior Fiberglass blinds. They are very similar except ours came standard with the Aluminum door. Very nice blinds and well worth it.

Only thing we added was some removable curtains for the back windows. Unless you get the tinted windows, you can see right in those blinds. We used velcro and some camo fabric and covered the back windows.

Buddy of mine has a 4x4 Dillon. He realy likes it and want's another fiberglass blind but wants to spend a little extra to get one a little better built than the Dillon. His Dillon he has to repaint every few years as the resin on the outside is not very thick like some of the other fiberglass blinds out there. Also we can't figure out how becuse they do seal up pritty good but he had a snake in it one morning. Door and windows were all closed.
