Anybody shoot any of these bows?? Im a Heartland Bowhunter addict, and see they shoot them and are sponsored by them. Wondering if they are any good....comprable to Hoyt or Bowtech??

Great question. I saw these at Cinnamon Creek Ranch and thought about trying one out. they are priced up there with Mathews and Hoyt I believe the one I was looking at priced at $850 or $950

My GT500 just arrived a couple of hours ago. I just came in from shooting it.

I've gone to test shoot several in the last few months, it was down to this and the Destroyer 340. Both feel amazing to shoot, I came across this one here on the forum, and it was exactly what I was looking for, besides it was priced to move.

The Elite bows are without question, a premium bow.

I shoot Elite. I have the Z28. Extremely smooth draw cycle. Lightning fast. Draw weights feel 10 lbs lighter than what it's set up at. Mine is at 70 and draws like 60. Go to Elitearchery.com and read their warranty and hunt guarantee. Then do the same for all other bow companies. I'm buying another one when season is over.

I'm shooting an 8.5 Z28 @60 lbs. It draws just a tad stiff but not really too stiff (if that makes sense) and has a very good valley and a solid wall.
I have friends that shoot Bowtechs and Matthews and they like theirs as well. All are great products.
Find a shop that carries them and shoot all the brands and see what fits your style and feel.
One thing I really like with Elite is their lifetime warranty that stays with the bow no matter who owns it...it's the best warranty in the business

Noticed nathyn posted just ahead of me and we sound like we are contradicting each other.
Just to clear it up I have the 8.5 Z and he has the 09 Z they have different cams, the 09 is suppose to draw smoother with the cuda cams. I have not shot a 09 Z

THe GTO is a great bow, fast and smooth. The GT500 is what I would call the best all aroung hunting bow for me, smooth and Fast. The z28 is extremly smooth but not as fast. Now, the Judge for 2010 is an excellnet shooting "speed bow" that would make a great hunting bow as well. JMO.....

I have been shooting a GTO which was replaced by the GT500 for a couple of years and love it. It is very fast shock free and quiet. My backup bow is a Bowtech Allegience.

I've shot Mathews for the last several years. I thought they were the best shooting bow as far as how it felt in my hand, but was always a little dissapointed on the speed of their bows.

I picked up an '08 GTO for really cheap just to use as a backup bow to my Drenalin. I bought it never shooting any Elite bow. Just wanted a speed bow. Its the best hunting purchase I've ever made. I loved that bow so much I had to find a dealer to go and shoot their newer bows. MISTAKE. Now I'm the proud owner of a GT500 and a GTO. lol
I sold the Mathews soon after. As long as Elite keeps making bows, I'll try them first.
You want be dissapointed if you get one.

<----<< I shoot the 2010 Judge @ 60 lbs. and 28" draw length. Getting more speed from a heavier arrow (407gr.) than I was my old Mathews at 72 lbs. with a 350 gr arrow. I'm also holding less weight. I tried several different bows on the market before I settled on the Judge. Shopped 5 different bow shops too. It had everything I was looking for in a bow for killing big hogs: Speed, very smooth draw cycle, great valley, solid back wall, more speed, very accurate, and more speed. I have mine set at 83% let-off and am holding 10.4 lbs at full draw. 300+ FPS all day long if I shoot a light arrow.
