This weekend the moon will be in its last phase with less than a quarter, the weather for most of TX will be cooler and its opening weekend.
East Texas hasn't had much rain and water holes are in high demand.

This is going to be a great opening weekend.

I hope all you fellas have great luck.....Some bright individual scheduled the Tx youth Ranch rodeo finals on opening weekend. Glad that we are going but we are going to miss the whole opening weekend.

Sounds like a winner of a forecast. I remember last year the cold front came in on Sunday and it was rainy and cool. I already had my deer on ice at that point but it does look good for north Texas this weekend.
