I lost one of my original breeders yesterday after he was gored by another buck. His name was Chester. He was one I raised since he was a 1 yr old. It is amazing how you can get attached to a deer. I have seen this deer every other day for the past 5 years. I am going to have TexasTaxi do a shoulder mount for me.
Here is a photo of him when he was 2 yrs old and another photo from mid-July of this year. It was the last live photo I have of him, but obviously he wasn't finished growing (which he did quite a bit more of). BTW, he was a spike as a 1 yr old, so be careful shooting those spikes.

I scored him 2x last night and he scored 210 and 211. On the hoof I never had him over 195. He had almost 39 inches of mass, 20 inches wide and 22/23+ beams. That put him at 104 down. He had 107 up (57 and 50) for a total of 211. He was a MF 6x6 with 21 scoreable points. His G2/G3 measurements were right at 10" for each tine with the borws right at 6" each.
It sucks to lose a nice one, but as everyone in the business knows, it is gonna happen.
