Making tree steps

do these really work? I debated ordering a pair of these instead on my lone wolf climbing sticks, but with no experience or feedback I got the climbing sticks. What brand do you have cost? Pics?

Bought mine from a Pawn shop..... I guess someone kept their linemans gear. DONT get the tree spikes they are too long.

One of the guys I hunt with in Arkansas (one who taught me to climb) I swear can run a squirrel down.

My next set will be aluminum, they are a lot lighter but a little pricey (still cheap compared to 5 sets of climbing sticks)
