I didn't trust mechanicals at first, but I tried them out anyway. Maybe I've been lucky but they have all worked for me.
I have shot Rage, Vortex, NAP's, and others and they worked great, usually dropping the animals within 20-30 yds a couple have run as far as 50 but only a couple.
Myself and 8 friends prefer to shoot mechanical's because of how fast they put an animal down. We own fixed blades but usually use them to shoot raccoons and other pestering critters.

I'd say that is exactly what happened, but you never know. If you're looking to sell them, let me know.

I have yet to see one not open. Staying closed can be a problem but easily remedied.

Yes o rings were present. I'm wondering if the target is too soft? That make sense? Oh wait I got it!!! Its this Elite pushing too fast. No time for the blades to pop outa the o ring!! Oh well. Buddy is here shootin the muzzy 100 green 3 blades. I put one on my errahs and they flew straight!

Where's the o ring? Try it with one on...mine always open, even in a foam target
