I know about Dodges a/c problem with the blend door and recirculating door and I took out the glove box and the reirculation door is still working and the blend door that operates when you turn the temp knob from cold to hot works. My issue is in the morning and at night the a/c blows cold on driver and pass side equally, but during the day the pass side blows cold but the driver side blows warm, until I stop then it gets cooler then warms up when I move again. I can turn of compressor button and turn it back on and it will blow cool out of drivers side for just a second then go to warm. On recirculate it doesn't seem to blow very hard but as I said the recirc door is operating. What gives?

That's the first time I've heard of the passenger side blowing colder than the driver's side. Usually the passenger side blows warmer air when the refrigerant is a little low. If you don't mind doing a little research, go to dieseltruckresource.com and you will find plenty of reading about the AC issues. Normally someone on that site can help you figure out your problem.
On my 06 the pressures were always too high. I had a clutch go out on my compressor so I installed a new compressor and the new updated liquid line that uses the larger orifice tube. Afterwards I noticed that the pressures were down a bunch. So far it has worked flawlessly. I bought the new line from the dealer for around $25. I will try to find the part # for it when I get the chance.

Had problem with pass side blowing warmer than the driver side on my 2005....mechanic buddy tested it and it was just a tad bit low on freon. Charged it up and works great now. Have had to do it twice in the past 3 years. The cost of looking for the leak was too much. He said the leak is sooooo small it would be very very very difficult to find. Hope this helps bud.

Sounds like your 2006 Dodge truck has a broken recirculated air door which has fallen down to the point of blocking air flow into the blower motor wheel. Common on these model trucks. Chrysler fix is to R&R dash and replace recirculated air door housing which has a new door and a new actuator. Expensive by this factory method.
I have developed a much less expensive route to replace the door and actuator. PM me and I will explain if you're interested.
For those that wonder how one side can be colder or warmer due to low refrigerant charge, it is due to case work design in most late model vehicles.
Due to low refrigerant charge, a section of the evaporator core will not be cold as it should be. Air that passes thru this area can end up mostly coming out one or more specific vents, thus the cold on one side and not so cold on the other side.
On orifice tube systems, the inlet and outlet pipes of the evaporator core should be with 5 degrees of each other after system has normalized. Outlet of evaporator much warmer than inlet indicates a low system. The reverse is true if overcharged.

First check the wires and connector for overheating at the blower motor resistor unit located near the blower motor. If no problem at that point then bump the bottom of the blower motor when it is not blowing at full speed. If the blower returns to full speed, then replace it. The fresh air door, if broken could also block air flow at times. Lower glove box and with a light ck to see if the fresh air door is functioning.
Some older Dodge trucks had a problem at the ignition switch feed wire that runs to the resistor unit. There was a service bulletin and campaign that called for replacing this wire and sometimes the ignition switch to correct a problem of terminal melting. A wiring diagram and volt meter go a long way in tracing down this problem. Dodge has wiring harness repair kits for many of these areas, but they are very expensive for what's in the package.

When the recirc door pooped out on my 04, it fell, and blocked air flow.
I just dropped the fan, removed the door, and put the fan back in. Took 10 minutes, tops.
I need to order a new one, but have been too lazy to do so. I get fresh air all the time now, which isn't too bad, until you get behind a car with stinky exhaust.
