Best 410 Bore for the $$$

Looking for best worth and lowest recoil in a 410. Wifey poo poo wants to shoot rabbits/quail this season and since we are pregnant, my 12G is out of the question. I was looking at the Rossi singles(for the price incase the rabbits are too cute to shoot), but I heard they still kick like a mule. The only autos I found cost roughly an arm and most of a leg.

I just bought a Remington 1100 sporting and have used it for dove this season. No recoil and shoots great. It is high but from all my research they really hold their value.

I forgot to mention that I also own a Reminton Wingmaster also and it really doesn't kick much either but your wife may not want a pump.

I recently bought a mossberg super bantam .410 pump it is the shortest shotgun on the market except for a sawed off. You can adjust the length of pull with add on spacers. Shoots 2.5 and 3" shells. No kick to speak of. Academy had them of sale along with the regular length .410 for a good price.

If you can find a BPS in 410 they are heavy enough to soak up recoil and very good looking guns.

I agree... pump 410, or a 20ga with the trainer or light loads in it... she'll be fine..

I have a Mossberg 510 mini I found at Bass Pro for $299. $99 sounds a whole lot better but if it will keep her intrested then it is worth the extra? We don't have a whole lot extra to spare so I have to be somewhat wise



Anybody know how much different the two are?
