Which County rules do I go by?

So if the county line runs trough your land which TPWD rules do you follow as far as hunting. Things like 13" rule or bag limit if they differ in the 2 counties?

Whichever county you're in at the time.
If I didn't think my opinion was right, then it wouldn't be my opinion. So, any other opinion must be wrong, therefore stupid.

Which county do you enter from? Camp? That would be my guess..

i guess it depends on where the camp is, our lease when we had all of it has parts of crockett, reagan, and upton county. our camp was in crockett county so that is what we went by.

This is the Law^^^^. Makes no difference where camp is, or where you park your truck

As others have said, you are supposed to go by the rules for the county you are hunting in. Doesnt matter where you camp or park, its where the shot was fired/arrow was released that matters.

wherever the stand/shot was taken from, because you are suppose to take it when you find it. But what to do if it is shot in one county and runs to another county to die, that would be a good question to ask the gw where you hunt at.

I think I'd be prepared to walk with the GW back to the spot where I took the shot and show where the animal was standing if there was a question about the county line. I've never seen a county line marked on the ground or easily discernible though--unless it followed a highway or waterway.
