Tagging deer on public land

How do you know what to fill out on your tag for public hunting areas? Obviously if your hunting on a WMA the name would be used for that area. The areas that don't have any name associated with it is a little confusing about what to fill on the tag. Any help would be appreciated.

I dont know what public areas dont have names, including lake Corps of Engineer lands. I put the unit # and county from the grasslands i kill a deer at.

So if it was COE land then it would be filled out COE lake X and so on?
