Not this one but I have been known to throw some across a street at my trailer and I have also been known to wrap a few around some trees. I have also been known to stomp a few pieces of equipment into pieces like it owed me money or something. I am glad I calmed down.

I would put a kit in at that time as they should only run $15-$20 bucks. A complete carb should be no more than $60 and would be the quickest and easiest way to fix and that unit is well worth $60 being a replacement would be around $320. If I can help drop me a line. I'm an Echo dealer. Mike
I recently purchased a 265T and within two months it wouldnt start. I took it in under warranty and they said they cleaned the port out and drained fuel and charged me $70 cause that wasnt covered. Is it common for the port to get clogged up that fast? This weedeater was my weedeater and I used it just at my house and a few yards when i had to go out and get dirty. So it wasnt abused by any means.

What port were they talking about?? If the exhaust port was clogged that not warranty but I don't see how it would get that way in two months. Most units are set up so lean under emissions compliance after about 1-4 months of running, depending on use the carbs need to be reset. About a 1/2 turn and they are back to running.

Like all the people before me have said the gas will evaporate and leave the oil to sludge things up. You may very well need to rebuild the carb.. This is the absolute most common non start problem they have. Good luck..
Gas engines need air too. Take off the exhaust and check the screen, clean the screen with a wire brush and soak in varsol or brake cleaner. This screen/exhaust will gum up if you run your equipt. a little rich and wont allow the engine to stay running. Let it dry and try it again I had a lawn business and my weedeaters would need this treatment about once every 6 months to run like they should. Good luck.

X2 on being careful with the starting fluid. That engine needs a mix of oil and fuel. With the starting fluid you are not getting any lubrication and if done so too often you will burn her up.

Might need a new ring if the carb is clean and you have good spark you need to do a compression check that is the next step
