    Question for the oil guys

Any of you familar w/ Mustang Drilling?

Just looking for a little background on 'em & what kinda folks they are to deal with.

Best I can decipher they were bought (2001) by South Texas Drilling & Exp, who then also acquired Pioneer & are now all under the umbrella of Pioneer Drilling Company (AMEX: PDC)

In what way are you looking to deal with them? Lease land, supply them equipment?

Thanks Tommy! What exactly is "midstream design work"? I'm not an oil guy; obviously

Tbar, They're operating under a master lease agreement (i.e. subcontractor) we have in place with another company. That agreement stipulates we be informed/participate in these types of activities.

Not sure of the target, we were just informed they are going w/ Mustang for the surveying. Bastrop.

More than likely someone will partner the well if the Geologist like what they see. If it were Eagleford it would be more oil than gas that far north.

No partnering on our end, we have an agreement w/ a single entity (single point of accountability); they however, are welcome to subcontract whatever/whomever they please, for any service they choose to outsource (in this case.... surveying). As long as everyone adheres to the terms of the master agreement, all is good.

I'm not gunna tell anyone how to run their house, but I will hold folks accountable (subcontractors included) when they're operating on my property. Just wanna know what kind of villian these guys are, so we know how close to stay to 'em for the surveying
