I shot one when I was shopping for a bow. It felt great but the bow I ended up with felt a little better. The next guy that came along it might have felt just the opposite. The best advice i can give is go to a pro shop (or even better, several pro shops), shoot it and all the other bows in your price range then make your choice. You'll be a happy camper with the one you end up with.
I am very pleased with my Bear Truth. I have shot a lot of different bows and I liked the way the Truth felt. In fact I have switched from shooting right handed to left handed and bought another Truth in Lefty and set it up just like my righty. I have owned 6 different Bear bows and still have 4 of them, a whitetail II, a Omni, and two Truths. You will find a lot of folks on here that shoot a Bear. Do a search for Bear and you will find a post by 2050Z that has a question like yours.
I last bow was a Bear Lights Out and I killed many a pig with that bow. This year I bought a new Attack and I like it even better. If the Bear feels good in your hand then buy it. It's a great bow!
I have owned two and both have been winners.
I can't wait to start hunting with my new Attack this year!
