Trophy Ridge Drop Away Rest ?

First off hello to everyone. I like to read all the threads but haven't posted until now bIecause I have a question about the trophy ridge drop away rest.

When I am drawing my bow it seems the arrow is being picked up before the rest comes up. By the time I am at full draw my arrow bounces in the rest unless I have a perfectly smooth draw. I haven't had this problem in the past, but am having it now.

I have a couple of ideas of what it maybe but not sure, so before I started tinkering with it I figured I would ask you guys. Thanks for any advice.

Do you have a string loop on your bow or are you shooting off string? Sounds like your arrow is being pinched while you draw.

I was out messing w/ my bow and I am pretty sure ya'll are right. I haven't been using a string loop for too long, any suggestions on fixing that?

my string loop isn't a fancy one just the kind you buy 3 to a pack.

Sounds like it could be pulled a little tighter so it does not move up and down on the string. You could also take some serving material and tie in a nock point above the loop and under the nock. Good luck.
