Needed Colorado Camp Cook
I have a Outfitter friend in Colorado near Blue Mesa Reservoir in GMU 54 between Gunnison and Montrose that needs a camp Cook (Option A). His wife (Option B) is not real excited about leaving home to put up with some Elk & Mule Deer Hunters...His camp cook for many years has fallen ill here at the last minute and he is in need for a good camp cook. It will be through October and into November. All Colorado Elk Rifle Seasons. All hunts are gun hunts. There is a nice Hunting Cabin with electrical generator power and commercial gas cooking stove and commercial gas grill. Separate sleeping areas for the Guides and the hunters. Hot Shower facilities. Only six hunters per week but probably will be cooking for twelve or so. Good road access to private ranch road. Generally hunters will leave early after harvesting their game. Often the hunters are gone within 3-4 days. Outfitter owns a Ranch in Colorado that backs up to the National Forrest but he lives in Alaska. So he does not have many local contacts. I figured someone here can help find some possible candidates. I do not now the pay or exact details. Just figured I would look for some possible candidates and get contact information for those interested to the Outfitter so he can contact anyone seriously interested.... Limited Over the Counter Draw so no open license for "over the counter" hunting opportunities in this GMU this season. So no hunting trades for cooking services are not available... too bad ...he'd have probably done it...
