I take it that you disagree?! All bows made today perform, but when shooting with an open mind and an unbiased predisposition, Bowtechs are very smooth and quiet.

I could go on and on about the problems I had with my bowtech but I will take the high road. In the end they told me to return it and pick out a new bowtech at no cost. AFTER A WAR WITH THEM. I was able to work out a deal with my bow shop and let them pick the bow from bowtech and I got a alpha max 35 and have not looked back. It is the best bow Ive had. Love it.

Go shoot bows people!! You may end up liking a 2006 Tribute or Bear Lights Out. How do you know without putting it in your hand and putting rarows down range? It's not like your picking which candy bar to buy. You are making an investment in a piece of equipment that you will take with you to hunt for years to come. If the moment comes up that you fling an arrow over the back of a trophy buck, you want to do it with the bow that YOU picked out and are comfortable with. Otherwise you'll second guess your decision forever. Take an afternoon, find a good pro shop, shoot'em all.

my younger cuzin shoots a mathews
and my older shoots a pse
and i have shot both of them and i prefer mine.

2008 general here. Pretty good bow. A little heavy but as said above might help? I shot the maxxis 31 and thought it was louder than my BT. It wasn't setup so I can't say for sure. It was smooth though. I have never shot a mathews so I can't give any info on them.
