Wal-Mart corn - price-matched Academy

I went to WMT this morning to get a couple things and 800# of corn. Price was $5.47 per 40# bag. I called Academy, and they said they had it for $3.99. So I left and went to Academy on my way out to the archery range. Got to Academy later, and they were sold out.

Went to shoot for a couple hours, and then came back by WMT. Told the guy I needed 20 bags, and he rang me up at $4.00 per bag. He told me they were matching Academy's price. I didn't know WMT did that, or I would have asked for it when I was there earlier. Better than the average trip to WMT.

Yea, I asked yesterday morning for the 3.99 and WM matched it. Was happy.

Walmart, Academy, and Roberts are all $3.99 for 40lbs. Heck of deal on corn. Wish I had a storage place for it. I would buy several hundred bags if I did......

Not trying to "poo-poo" y'alls deals guys, but Academy is a local "Texas" company and Wal-Mart is....well......a China "subsidary". If you can, think about giving Academy the business and wal-mart the "fanger"

havent seen forklift at academy... Walmart will match ANYONES price, been in tooo many lines behind folks with every mail flyer known to man getting items prices matched!!!!
