iPhone 3gs App problem.....???

I synced my phone and updated to the new 4.1 software. Now all my downloaded Apps r gone. When I go to iTunes, I can see all the apps under the "app tab".

Here's the question...how do I reinstall my apps??

On the left hand side, under devices click, "your iphone"

Up top click the apps tab

then sync, or check the ones you want then sync

I thought that last night for a minute. 4.1 included the Game Center, which put its app on my first home screen, bumped the app who's place it took to the 2nd home screen where it was all by itself. All I had to do was move it and discovered all my apps were still there after the 2nd screen. That as clear as the Trinity after a flood and sewage spill?
