    why can't we

be satisfied with what we have? Why do we like to try and trade bows, sights, arrows,bh's etc? I have a friend that's had the same bow for the last 7&8yrs, he don't like to change. My wife wishes I was like that. I like to trade and try new things, mainly bows. I just sold a super admiral and I loved it but I got a wild hair and sold it. I bought a elite aigil and I love it. It makes me want to try other elites, especially the z28 and the gt500. I also wanna try a athens bow, alphamax, and a destroyer. Anyway, sorry for the rambling, trying to stay awakw to kee my wife awake cause she's driving

Some of us are tinkerers and like to change no matter how good things are that we use. I always like to try new stuff and not ever really satisfied for long.

shouldve know cb, aka the multiple elite bow owner, would post to this! Waz up brotha, yall elite people have got me wanting to try other elites. If I'd had the money, I'd have bought a 08 z28 for $400 yesterday or if he would have traded for the aigil. I've owned 2 elites, a couple hoyts, a couple of bowtechs, a mathews, and a new breed and guess what, I loved all of them. I just like shooting bows period. Still wanna try the athens. I'd also like to try the alphamax and destroyer. But would have to sell or trade the aigil to do so. And not too keen on that idea right now. Now ask me in 5 min and it might change

If it wasn't for guys like us, there would be no reason for bow manufacturers to keep coming up with better faster stronger bows. You would just buy one and never change, so there would be no repeat business. Just look at all of the people who have jobs because of us

I would like to have a better bow. I bought my bow to make sure I enjoyed bow hunting so I didnt spend a lot on it but for the most part I'm happy with what I have and I don't need a new bow. It really doesnt take a lot to make me happy. I just need a roof over my head and a truck to get me where I need to go.

LOL.In the world of table tennis those guys are known "EJ's" (equipment junkies). Always buying and trying the latest rubbers and blades thinking it will turn them into the greatest player ever. Apparently some bowhunters suffer from the same affliction.

I'm happy, just always looking for something new. One thing I'll probably never change is shooting something other than a wb rest, might upgrade to a newer one but I'll have one on what ever bow is that I have.

After I got out of the Military in the early 80s I got a Pearson compound, some lowlife scumb bag maggot seems to like it better than me and stole it for drugs probably.
The next bow was a Hoyt Proforce, I had it for 18 yrs, before I upgraded to a Ultratec, I trade that one for a Vectrix (still have it) and now I'm working on designing my own handle forward longbow.

3 bows in 30 yrs I'm not doing too bad.

I bad about buying gadgets. I buy a bow and will keep it till I find one that shoots better for me. It may be a yr like two bows ago, it may be 4 like the last bow or it may be 7 yrs like 3 bows ago. Trucks, I'll keep forever but want a new one just can't justify spending 40k with I think I can put 2k in my truck and go on 38k worth of hunts.

This is funny. I found this thread by searching for "Admiral", because I was just sitting here thinking about selling mine, and wanted to see what all bow comparisons I could find in the Campfire section. I'm perfectly happy with it, just have an old Hoyt Vtec I've been shooting a lot, and want to try out some more Hoyt bows.
