    Camera question

I finally got a camera. I ended up getting a Moultrie D50 (the cheapest one they make) It doesn't come with the best directions and this is my first year setting up my own feeder (besides the one Matt helped me with) and camera. I got the camera set up and mounted on a t-post. I'm not sure if I set it too far from the feeder. I havent seen the flash go off yet, but it could be that nothing is at the feeder. How far should it be from the feeder? I have it set at about 25ft from my feeder.
    It says
    Infared Sensor: 45 ft.
    Flash: 45 ft.

Does that mean it will take pictures at night up to 45 ft?

I have mine set from about 10 to 12 yards from the feeder and yes that means it will sense up to 45' and the flash should be good to 45'. Only thing you might have to worry about is the sensitivity button. If it is set to high you may get a lot of pics of the weeds, tress and brush moving and nothing else.

I have 8 D40's out and they work great. Just do the basic set up and let it rip. Mine are all about 10 to 15 yards from the feeder or on a trail about the same distance in places where I have a stand but no feeder.

one of my chores tomorrow is mowing I hate to mow. I might move it to a better spot but I'll have to find the rock I used to set the t-post. I threw it after I was done I wasnt very happy. I just wanted to get it set up. I don't know if it has a sensitivity setting, I'll have to check. I am happy that I didnt have to search for the instructions in English, since thats all it came with. I cant remember the last time I bought something that didnt come with instructions in 3 languages.
