    Public Land Teal?

Is there any public lands with some teal around central texas? I dont care if I only Shoot 10 times as long is there some teal flying! I was thinking about Granger but doubt they got any. Also id be willing to pay alittle bit if anyone has a pond I could hunt.

    Thanks,
    Matt B.

Matt - check out the maps of public lands at the link above. There is quite a bit of public land out there, and many lakes that are designated as a WMA. All you need is the annual public hunting permit to access them.

    Good Luck!

I'm heading to Belton Lake next weekend. We gota few teal last year but they were during regular season, not early teal, so no telling what we'll see this year.

I had luck up in north texas a richland creek last year, but that may be a little far for you.
