Bay Flats Lodge in Seadrift, Tx

Went down to Bay Flats Lodge in Seadrift, Tx on a corporate deal and just wanted to give those guys and gal's a huge thumbs up!!! Staff was awesome, accomodations were great, food was insane good and the fishing was killer.

We worked the grass flats in about 24" water and just cleaned house on the Reds, really gets your full value on some Costa's watching that gold bullet come in a slam your drag. Moved out to some shell and croaker soaked the trout.

Had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone looking for a quick weekend run. Cant wait to go back on some ducks!

I've been looking at that place pretty hard for the past few seasons but havent booked a trip yet. I'd like to do a cast and blast trip, or maybe just a blast trip but they seem alittle high, although I know its a top notch place......

I've been watching this place for some time as well. Chris and his crew seem like top notch people. I've had a couple of friends fish / hunt with them as well that said the exact same thing.

I see a trip in the future.

We went a couple of years ago and they were the best, caught a lot of fish and was treated fabulously, would recommend it to anyone, their website usually has current pics that they take pretty much daily. I's go back in a heartbeat.

I'm looking for a duck hunt or possibly a combo trip and so far everything I've read about them has been positive. They are priced a little higher than most, but from the looks of things it is most likely worth it.

I went on a cast & blast there last year. The lodge, service, and food was great. Duck hunt was good and fishing was dead. Overall it was great trip! This place is high due to the amenities offered beyond the hunting or fishing.

Yep, great place to go on someone elses dime. My family is more about the fishing / hunting than the frill. Bayflats is set up to cater to those that want frill with some fishing on the side IMO

Yes Harold is a good guy. Harold and I started fishing together back in 94. and he has been running with Chris for about 10 years. Harold is a top notch Guide.
