how do Danners fit?

I am going to order a pair of the danner pronghorns off the internet. I need to know how they fit. I normally where an size 11 shoe and it fits good. I recently bought a pair of ariat slip on boots and I had to buy size a size 10 to keep my heal from slipping.

The pronghorns being lace up and unfamiliar with I'm hesitant on which size I should buy. I'm going with the uninsulated kind so should I just go with size 11, or do they run big? Maybe size up for thicker socks when the temp drops. I'm just unfamiliar with danner and I hate to drive all the way to Bass pro just the try them on, but that might be my best option. anybody help?

I love Danner boots. Both my spouse and myself wear them and I'm pretty sure that they fit true to size. I can adjust the lace ups when I wear thicker socks. You will like them!

like a glove...very light weight. If you plan on hunting the mountains they are the best!!! I took mine to BC last year. Loved em. Gander Mountain is closer and they should have them in Sherman Texas. I bought 10 1/2 which is what I normally wear.

In my experience Danners run narrow, even their EE boots are to narrow for me. It hacks me off becuase I want a pair of Ft. Lewis boots.

That's all I wore in the military. I love them. I still have 3 pair I still wear.

I think they run just a little bit big. For example, I wear a 10 1/2 in a running shoe - my 10 1/2 Pronghorns have plenty of room for a heavy sock and a thin liner sock. If I was going to get an uninsulated Danner boot to wear with a just thin sock in hot weather I think a 10 would fit me better.

I have a pair on right now. I usually wear a 13 and ordered a 13. They fit great!

Like a glove! They do run narrow though, I normally wear a B-C width and a D fits me great in Danners. I have 3 pair and can't say enough good about em!

I think they run fairly true, maybe a little big... you can wear mid to heavy socks
with them easy... I have 5 pairs... and love them as much as my custom Russell
Mocassin boots... for a lot less $$$

I too wear an 11 in a tennis shoe and a 10 in a slip on boot. I bought my pronghorns in an 11 and they fit great.

I have the same size as everything else that I wear. I do think they are a very little bit oversize for thicker socks, but I really like them.
