The 06 is a little over kill for varmits. The Ar would be your best choice unless you have another gun in the .22 calibers
Varmit calls, Camo, face mask, red lens for a spot light if you are hunting at night., cushon to sit on and also "shooting sticks".
A good shotgun with 1buck is great for coyotes up close.
