    Places to eat in Victoria

Some people from my office and I are planning to go to Kingsville on Sunday afternoon, but we will stop in Victoria for dinner that night.

Any suggestions that are reasonably close to Hwy 77?

    Thanks!

Not really anything special but I like Casa Ole. It is in the mall on the left going through Victoria on 77. There are several place to eat in that area before you get to the loop that you will probably be taking.

Other than the usualy "chain" resturants, The Greek Bros. is about as good as it's gonna get in Victoria.

        Good call JTS.

Might you be thinking about The Double J Eatery?

IMO, that's just one step above Dairy Queen!

There was a steak house out by the Airport we would come over from El Campo to eat at that was pretty good.

What kind of food do you all want. I have gotten plumb fat eating in Victoria.

That'd be the the Feedlot ... used to be Leo's Feedlot.

I forgot about Maggies, they got some mean steaks there too. You can even pick your steak from the meat market, if you desire. They had a fire, that shut them down, a while back. I'm sure they're back up and running by now.

Corral is still there. I would have to go to Greeks if I was choosing. Maggies is OK but cant find a cook as far as I am concerned.
