Fellas, it's on. Heard reports from lower country that it's still a bit out, but above 10k, they are callin and chasing. Had a couple exciting close encounters this last weekend, and going to hit it again for 4 days leaving Wed night. Good luck to you elk chasers!

We had a 330 class bull come running from around 400 yards away Saturday morning. Only problem was he came in behind me and didn't give me a shot before hitting the trees again. We kept him in terested and he stayed around. I actually stalked withen 50 yards of him after he barked and circled us. I just could only see his back through the brush. He did NOT want to leave.
