    crossbow scope problem

    Hey,

My crossbow took a tumble of about 6 ft off my closet shelf. Needless to say the thing is not hitting where it is supposed to. Actually about 2 ft. off. I've maxed out the adjustment and still I am about 1 ft. off. What to do?

Replace the scope... Sounds like something internal is no longer where it should be.

man, I hope you're wrong Junkie. It's ok though, the old Mathews is my primary, the crossbow was just for something different. Any other thoughts?

You MAY have gotten lucky and the scope itself is just knocked out of line. But every scope I have had that problem with was something I couldn't fix and had to be replaced.

        Good luck

X2 its probly a little expensive, but if your gonna put it to use i'd rather be on the safe side.

If I remember correctly a buddie of mine told me that when he had the same problem you are having, he took off the caps of the windage and elevation knobs and then he turned them both all the way to one side then to the other. After doing so he then resighted the scope and it worked. You might try this before spending the cash on a new one. What do you have to loose???
