Need help in trying to find a heater for our camp house. I was looking at propane heaters, but my wife is worried about using gas, but they do have high btu output. So I looked at a few electric heaters, but the btu's aren't very high. I have two milkhouse heaters from Wally World I bought last year to get us by and they did as long as we had both of them in the same room with a blanket over the door between rooms. Looking at Vornado DVTH heaters with more air circulation, but still only a little over 5k btu's. Open to suggestions. Maybe a small woodburning stove?

On my family's place we have a potbelly stove in our camp house and it gets the job done but I really dont like it b/c of the smokey smell, when bowhunting I have to leave all my hunting clothes in the truck while I am there.... I would have no problem getting one of the new fangled "blue flame" propane heaters with thermostat and fan built in....

I dont know anything about the Vornado heaters so to say that the blue flame is safer, I couldn't...
I know the blue flames are made for indoors, all the old deerborns were replaced with them.... I am assuming they are perfectly safe for indoors, I was looking at a smaller one for my girls box blind to run off a 5 gal. tank... I would assume they should be somewhat efficient but the big propane tanks should not be too hard to find, I wouldnt think... If so, just take a few of the 5 gal. tanks with you..
