I have been in your shoes before. I just recently switched from graveyard shift to a day shift, although I work Sun - Thurs, I miss going out on Sunday mornings. Before too long I am going to pick up a P/T job on fridays also, so my only hunting day will be Sat. But just remember you gotta do what you gotta do. Everyone is right. being all growed up stinks sometimes but the rewards are worth it in the end. I am taking my daughter to get her first deer this weekend so for me that is one of my rewards.

Well, maybe not, but it couldn't hurt!

I was at the lease Friday night and came down with a stomach flu. Managed to hunt yesterday morning (didn't see anything) and then it hit me pretty hard. Traveled back home yesterday. That was the longest trip from the deer lease of my life! I was miserable! Had a temp when I got home of 103.4. Feeling quite a bit better this morning, but it sure ruined my weekend! So see there are worse things than having to work!

Hey SB you went to school at SFA with my brother, he told me you were the only guy he ever seen two step in flip flops. I think yall spent way to much time up there. The only time I went was at his graduation in 99 and I don't remember much about that night. Hey brother we will be makin a trip to BIG SAM soon, e-mail me and let me know what we need to do to catch some east TEXAS TOADS. dreaj@msn.com

                Thanks Snakelover!
Catfish, it seems like we talked about this once. Yes I could still get around that dance floor in my sandles.
I would be cranking over the grass myself if I was up there.

4D, no that does not count.

Cranking grass or ripping grass with a rattle trap. Sometimes a fluke or ratteln rouge will work. And if your real desperate or find a good holding area you can flip the deeper grass. I havent been to Sam in a long long long time.
