I'm working overtime on State money, Click it or Ticket....

While writing a ticket today, some guy pulls up beside me, stops and says he has a question. The dispatcher was talking to me about the guy's warrants I had stopped, and I told the guy just a second. I thought he was probably lost by his unfamiliar northeren accent. I finish getting the info and then asked the man if I could help him.

He said, "How much time do you waste writing those speeding tickets?" Not missing a beat, I told him that I was writing a seatbelt ticket, and he should have a great day. The guy just sat there for a sec and then drove off.

Guess I should have told him to wait and then explain to him how I busted a meth lab Sunday afternoon that was rolling down the residential streets just because the passenger was not wearing her seatbelt.

Oh well, clueless.....

I hear ya. I got a little upset yesterday when I got a ticket at 5AM not 1 block from my house. I was driving to work at 5AM and did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign. The guy pulled me over and wrote me a 180 dollar ticket!! Grrr I was mad...but what could I say? He was just doing his job. 180 bucks sucks!!

I saw a headline on a paper this morning about a meth lab in a van somewhere. Was that you? Regardless keep up the good work and don't worry about fools and their opinions

You tell that cop to come sit on West Airport between Hwy 6 and FM 1464 in Sugar Land. He could make the city a ton of money on people that don't understand what a Stop sign means.
