Red Dot Smokes a Monster Boar her first Hog Bow harvest!
Red Dot was invited on a hog bowhunt by Jasmine & Howie Smith of Chester TX
Diana, the Hunting Goddess smiled on Dot and she smoked a huge Whooping trophy Boar and hit dead center and dropped it!
Best of All Brian Palmer ( No relation to Mike Palmer) the Outfitter, filmed the entire bow hunt on my Canon GL-2 TV Camera, and got it all.
Dot used her trusty "ConCept 32 Hunter" hunter bow by ConCept Archery, an Axis 500 arrow with QUICK SPIN 2 inch Vanes( she makes her own arrows)and a 4 blade Steel Force Broadhead and a Scott Mini Mongoose release. Dots Hunting bow was equipped with an STS, a Winners Choice bowstring, a Nikon Laser range finder, A Large Sta Brite Peep, a Kisser Button. Limb Savers stabilizer and Limb Savers, an Alpine 7 arrow Bow Quiver and A Vital Bow Gear Star Track Pivot Sight, and a Whisker Biscuit Arrow rest.
Dots bow was about 40# and ConCept bows enjoy a 99% Let off.
Red Dot is the Only lady on ConCept Archerys Hunting Pro Staff.
She is also on Winners Choice's Bowstrings Pro Staff, Vital Bow gear Pro Staff Limb Savers Pro Staff, and Tink's Pro Staff.
Nikon's National Pro Staff, and Dot is 69 now and battles to draw 40#.
Last Saturday she won the Womens First Place Medal at the Kerrville Archery and Bowhunters Assn 3 D Tournament
Then to prove it was not luck, Dot went out the next day and drilled a second hog and got it on movie film too!.... 2 hogs in 2 days.
The Monster Trophy hog weighed 305#
