I got a text from RDWHunter (Russell) when he was changing planes in Denver on his way to Wyoming. He had an Eastmans Bowhunting Magazine in his hand and had Cameron Hanes come up and talk to him. Cameron is on his way to Wyoming and is hunting pretty close to where Russell is hunting. Cameron is the host of Elk Chronicles and was the editor for Eastmans Bowhunting Journal for years. Russell said he is sitting next to him on the plane so maybe he can get some pointers.

He is truly hardcore. He is big time DIY and he gets it done. Backcountry Bowhunting is one of my favorite books. I'd love to share a campfire with him and pick his brain.Comment
