I think Hondo had a good steakhouse on the north side of the tracks? Coulda swore it was fairly reknowned. Antler something? U can't miss it , smack in the middle of town I think

Go to D'hanis and eat at Bill and Rosa's. Hermann sons steakhouse is good in Hondo, try the pepper steak. We almost always ate at Billy Bob's Burgers on the way to the lease though.

Go west to Dhanis on hwy 90, its about 10 minutes. Across the tracks in the middle of town is a meat market/steak house. You can even by your own steak and cook it on the grills on the back porch of the market. They have picnic tables, ect. My buddy is from Hondo and goes all the time, he enjoys it.

you can also run over to Sabinal Grill in Sabinal. about twenty minute drive

If you want to stay in Hondo Herman and sons steak house is very good. Bill and Rosas in D'Hanis is alot of fun, good atmosphere and probably live music, Sabinal Grill in Sabinal abouty 20 or 30 minutes from Hondo has great food I like the steak sandwich and sweet potato fries. You can't go wrong with any of these. JD

Standard steak house food.. they have great fried fish and shrimp.. but Herman sons is waaaay better
