    Well they got me again.

As some know I was on a deer lease just outside of Cleveland off of Fostoria RD. The grand total for theft on this place was.

    2 each game cams $400
    1 eachfeeder $200
Various stuff from my dads travel trailer $800
    Damage to the trailer $200

And to top it off a 20ft 6X5X6 tower blind. $600 material but a lot more in labor just this past week before we could get it off the place.

    Grand total $2200+

I'm not going to name the lease or who runs it but if your looking for a place in that area be careful and hunt off a bucket with hand thrown corn. After your hunt take the bucket home or it will be gone too.

One would think that there would be some sort of unwritten code regarding stealing hunting stuff. I mean, what are they gonna do with your tower blind? Probably hunt out of it. That's low man.

So sorry for your loss. Maybe the other conclusion you could reach is that they want you out of there...so they can hunt it themselves. Free.

That blind they took, takes at least two trucks and a 16ft lowboy to move. No easy task. You and my dad a thinking along the same lines. I am as well but I have no proof. God will judge them in the end for it. We are going to move on and not let it get us down. I have been hunting for over 30yrs and my dad for over 50 yrs. In all those years combined we have not lost that much stuff.

Glad you got off the place. Anyone who could do something like this will be caught eventually.......they evidently have no fear and no sense.

Dang, I hate hearing this. I hunt in Polk county and have had a few problems in the past but nothing like this.
Something sure sounds fishy, have you confronted the lease manager about this ? did anyone else get hit or just you ?

I would not let that go unchallanged myself. At the very least I would want the local Sheriff to make a report. By doing so you may save someone the aggrevaiton and loss that you are encountering now. It can't hurt even if you notify the law and tell them about it but tell them you don't want to make an official report until you have removed what is left.

Sure sorry to hear about it, but I thought for sure that all the thieves in Texas lived off FM 787 between Cleveland and Dolen.
