Well it all started with her shooting my bb-gun one day in the back yard and then a week later there we were at the lease. She had never shot a rifle before and I knew she was nervous after I had sighted in her new 223 break open I had just bought for her and her lil sis. After the rifle was zero'ed in at 100 yards she was up to bat. It took her a couple of minutes to build up the courage to squeeze the trigger but when she did I couldn't believe what I saw!!! She had hit the bullseye at 100 yds shooting off the hood of my Rhino!! Needless to say off to the field we went. She had mentioned many times that she would NOT shoot a momma deer so I had this spike a friend of mine wanted us to dispose of and after only 10 minutes in the stand out he comes. My daughter wasn't quite tall enough to shoot out the window so I sat her down on my lap. I told her to go ahead and put the cross-hairs right behind his shoulders and slowly squeeze the trigger.............BANG!!!!!! The deer dropped in its trax and ofcourse I was more excited than she was but once she realized what she had done she asked if she could shoot some of the momma deer now! I told her I thought you didn't want to shoot any momma deer??? She replied Well daddy I changed my mind! By far this is one of the most memorable days of my life even if she did have an I-Carly hat on!
