CCR...the real deal in archery!!!

I met Humper at CCR last night. We met up at the little shop they built with only one range.

NOT!!!

This place is HUGE! We were talking and it was greatly decribed by Humper as the "Six Flags off Archery." They have a zoo for cyring out loud. What other range in the area has a zoo? I hadn't been out there since the first HH back in whenever it was when they had the grand opening for Syracuse's and everyone was allowed to shoot the flats, creeks, and the other one. I can't remember the name of the other range.

They have added so much. We started off at the outdoor broadhead range. The range is about as real as it gets to see how true/untrue your broadheads fly. They have targets from about 10 yards clear out to about 45 or so yards.

The pro shop... The pictures on here don't do the pro shop ANY justice as to how nice it is set up. They have 2 ranges downstairs and the long range upstairs. I wish now I would've taken pictures.

The coolest thing about the pro shop is the Techno Hunt. Marine1 also met us up there for the techno hunt. Jeff is getting ready to go to Colorado today so we decided to get in some elk hunting. I'll have to say this is one cool deal. I've never done a video hunt before last night.

CCR has gone above and beyond for archery in this area. My hat's off to y'all!

Just wish it were closer. I'm headed there Friday to shoot. Definitely a one of a kind place.

Man do they have some arrows from a poor mans arrow to the ones that don't deserve anything but a titanium rage on the end of it to complete a $50 shot. Nice stuff and huge selection!

Cinnamon Creek Ranch

It's off Old Denton Rd. Easiest way to get there is take the first exit north of cabelas which Westport pkwy (I think) and go east to Old Denton Rd. You can't miss it. There's a huge orange sign that says Syracuse meats and go north from there. You can't miss the huge building and 15' high wood fence running along the road. That's what I call a high fence!
